Suitable Surfaces
Natural stone with a polished finish — including marble, granite, travertine, limestone, and similar polished natural stone materials.
Faber Soap is specifically formulated for polished stone surfaces. For unpolished, honed, or textured stone, see Faber Alga Floor or Faber Clean 360. Always test on a small unexposed area before full application.
How to Use
Surface Preparation
Remove surface debris using a broom or vacuum cleaner before applying any liquid product.
Application
- Dilute 2–3 capfuls of Faber Soap in 5 litres of water
- Apply the solution to the surface, ensuring even coverage across the whole area being treated
- Work over each section for at least 10 seconds using a single-disc machine
- Do not allow the product to dry on the surface — work in manageable sections
- Remove residues using a wet vacuum
- If the product does dry on the surface, buff with a dry white pad to restore the finish
Application equipment can be cleaned with water at the end of use.
Recommended Maintenance Schedule
For best results, use Faber Soap every 7–10 days as part of a regular stone maintenance programme. Regular use progressively builds water-repellent protection, meaning the surface becomes increasingly easier to clean over time and requires less effort to maintain its polished appearance.
