Description
Menzer White Floor Pad 406mm — Soft Polishing Pad for Stone, Marble & Hard Floors
The white pad is the polishing pad in the Menzer normal pad range. Soft and non-abrasive, it is designed for working polishing creams and powders into stone, marble, granite, limestone, and polished porcelain surfaces on a single-disc machine — and for buffing and maintenance polishing on parquet and hardwood floors where zero scratch risk is essential.
Understanding where the white sits in the range helps select the right pad for every stage of the job.
| Colour | Hardness | Primary Use |
|---|---|---|
| White | Soft, non-abrasive | Polishing creams and powders, maintenance polishing, buffing |
| Beige | Soft, absorbent | Oiling, waxing, product application and burnishing |
| Red | Medium, non-abrasive | Oiled floor maintenance and light cleaning |
| Green | Hard, slightly abrasive | Light to moderate cleaning, grain raise, mesh carrier |
| Black | Very hard, abrasive | Heavy cleaning, aggressive soiling, mesh carrier |
Construction and Quality
Menzer floor pads are manufactured in Italy from high-density polyester fibre. The density of the pad construction determines how consistently the pad performs across its full face during a machine pass.
For a polishing pad the high-density construction is particularly important — a dense pad maintains its shape and thickness under machine weight, which ensures consistent contact pressure across the full pad face during polishing. Uneven pressure from a lower density pad produces uneven polish distribution and inconsistent results, particularly visible on polished stone surfaces under raking light.
The Italian manufacture reflects Menzer’s positioning as a professional-grade tool supplier — the same manufacturing standards that apply to their abrasives extend across the entire pad range.
Primary Applications
Working Faber polishing creams and powders
The white pad is the correct tool for applying and working Faber polishing chemistry on stone and hard floor surfaces with a single-disc machine. The soft non-abrasive fibre works the product into the surface consistently without over-cutting or scratching the polished finish beneath.
Suitable for use with the following Faber polishing products:
- Faber Star Shine Easy — water-based polishing cream for porcelain and quartz
- Faber Star Shine High Gloss — high gloss polishing cream for natural stone
- Faber TCB 12 — water-based polishing cream for granite, quartz, and porcelain
- Faber Buff N Shine — maintenance polishing cream for stone and hard floors
- Faber ABR 600 — micro-abrasive polishing cream for restoration and shine recovery
- Faber Alpha Gloss — high gloss polishing cream for marble and limestone
- Faber A3 Yellow Polishing Powder — high gloss polishing powder for marble and limestone worked as a wet slurry
For polishing powder products the powder is mixed with water to form a working slurry before application. The white pad distributes and works the slurry evenly across the surface — the soft non-abrasive fibre maintains consistent contact with the polished surface throughout the pass without introducing scratch marks into the finish.
Maintenance polishing and buffing on parquet and hardwood floors
The white pad is also used for maintenance polishing and buffing on parquet and hardwood floors — working maintenance polishes and buff-up products into lacquered or oiled surfaces to restore sheen between full maintenance cycles. The non-abrasive character means it can be used on finished wood surfaces without risk of dulling or scratching the lacquer or oil film.
Post-application buffing on stone and hard floors
After working a polishing cream into a stone surface, a second pass with a clean dry white pad buffs the surface to a consistent finish and removes any residual product film. The soft fibre picks up the residue without marking the polished surface beneath.

Choosing the Right Pad
If product application and absorption is the priority — oiling, waxing, or spreading maintenance products — the Menzer Beige Floor Pad is the more absorbent alternative for those specific tasks.
If a degree of mechanical action is needed alongside maintenance work — cleaning an oiled floor with heavier soiling — step up to the Menzer Red Normal Pad for medium non-abrasive cleaning and maintenance.
