Arboritec FillerMix – Waterborne Wood Joint Filler for Floors

Arboritec FillerMix is a high-performance, waterborne filler for repairing joints and gaps between wood or parquet panels. It is designed to be mixed with sanding dust from the floor being treated, creating a consistent putty that matches the surface. With low solvent content, fast drying and excellent sandability, it supports professional floor refinishing workflows.

Application Instructions

1. Sand the floor down to bare wood (typically 60- to 80-grit).

2. Shake the FillerMix container to ensure proper mix.

3. Mix clean sanding dust from the floor with FillerMix to form a putty-like consistency.

4. Apply the mixture across the floor using a spatula, filling all cracks and joints. For larger joint widths, two or more applications may be needed.

5. Allow at least 60 minutes drying time (extended depending on humidity and temperature) before final sanding. Final sanding typically with 120-grit.

6. Once sanded smooth, proceed with applying floor lacquers or oils as appropriate.

Technical Data & Storage

• Binder: Fibre-reinforced acrylate copolymer.

• For filling cracks up to max. 2mm. Cracks wider than 2mm require multiple fillings and longer drying time.

• Usage: Approx. 1 litre of mixed filler covers around 8–10 m² of floor.

• Solvent Content: <1 %.

• pH: 7-8.

• Drying Time: From 3 h to up to 24 h to final polishing; full cure approx. 10 hours after final polishing.

• Packaging: Available in 1 litre and 5 litre plastic containers.

• Storage: Best if used within 12 months when stored unopened at +10 °C to +25 °C; protect from frost.

• Indoor Use Only.

• Safety: Not classified under CHIP regulations but standard PPE (gloves, eye protection) and ventilation recommended.
