Not every floor calls for a neutral start. On darker species, stained boards, or timbers where the natural warmth and grain are the entire point of the job, a transparent primer can leave the finished result looking flat. Vibrant is the answer.

A ceramic-fortified, 1-component waterborne primer built on Arboritec’s Small Particles Technology, Vibrant is specifically designed to intensify the natural colour and grain definition of wood floors. Its deep-ambering formula enriches dark tones, deepens contrast between grain features, and delivers the character and warmth traditionally associated with oil-based systems — at low VOC and without NMP.

What Vibrant Does Differently

Most waterborne primers aim for neutrality — minimal colour impact, maximum transparency. Vibrant takes the opposite approach deliberately. Its ambering effect is engineered to make the wood look its best, not its most neutral. How to Apply

1. Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and sanded to a smooth finish. Remove all dust by vacuuming and tacking.
2. If applying over a stain, ensure the stain is fully dried before proceeding.
3. Apply Vibrant evenly using a roller, T-bar, or brush. Avoid puddling or heavy overlap.
4. Allow to dry fully — refer to the TDS for recoat windows at given temperature and humidity.
5. Lightly abrade with a fine screen or abrasive pad once dry. Remove all dust.
6. Apply your chosen Arboritec finish coat.
